Hi everybody,
My boyfriend arrived from France two days ago and I wanted to prepare a good meal for him.
I decided to prepare a complete meal with meat and vegetables, I prepared a moussaka for him.

This plate comes from Greece and it is composed with Eggplants, onions and meat.
In this recipe, I decided to chance some thing and so I revisited the recipe.
Here, I give you my recipe because I did it one time before and I loved it !


Preparation time: 30/40 minutes
Price around 5£ for one plate (so maybe 4 persons)
Easy to make.

Ingredients:

  • 1 big eggplants
  • 1 half of an onion
  • 400g of beef
  • 2 tomatoes
  • a little of grated cheese for the end
  • ingredients to make a bechamel sauce (2 tablespoons of Flour, 20 g of butter and 25 cL of milk)

How to make it?

      1)   First of all, wash the eggplants and cut them into strips lengthwise
      2)   Put them in the oven to air them a little. (maybe 10 minutes)
      3)   Cut the onion in little dice forms and put it in the stove with the beef.
      4)   Then, cut tomatoes into slices.
      5)   In an other part, prepare the bechamel sauce:
           -   In a pan and over a low heat, melt the butter.
           -  Then, put the flour and move
           - Then, put the milk and move again.
           - And put some salt and peper
      6) When all of your ingredients are ready, you can serve in a plate.
    In first you put the beef and onions, above you put the sliced tomatoes and then above you put the   eggplants.
   After that you put on this your bechamel sauce and your mozza.
      7)   Put in the oven during 35/40 minutes.
